Blogging Without a Safety Net

We’ve had quite a lot of snow up here in Scotland, oddly there has been a combination of sub-zero temperatures, ice and snow for almost two weeks, which is very odd for region around Musselburgh.

So finally today I made it out with the good camera and got some nice shots in the snow. If it’s still here come the next weekend I’ll have to see what I can get with the extension tube on the macro lens.

I took the above photo back in August of this year. It’s one of the first heavy editing of a photo that I did as it’s been cropped, rotated and also sharpened. After the cut there’s the original black and white version.

It’s been awhile, so here’s a little something…

Taken on a evening trip with North Berwick Photographic society. A get night, but it was very wet on the way back to the car.

I’ve been meaning to get out into the back garden and take some photos of the dandelion’s. However when I’ve had the time they had already closed up for the evening, but I managed to make it out in time today.

I really like this one, it’s now my forth most Interesting photo on Flickr.
